Suzlon & Waaree Group Sign Strategic 201.6 MW Wind Deal

Suzlon Energy has landed a 201.6 MW wind power order from Waaree Forever Energies (WFEPL), the independent power producer (IPP) arm of the Waaree Group. This contract marks Waaree’s official entry into the wind energy sector.

Executed under Suzlon’s Development Company (DevCo) model, the project will feature the installation of 64 S144 wind turbine generators (3.15 MW each) in Andhra Pradesh. As part of a full end-to-end EPC agreement, Suzlon will handle land acquisition, turbine supply, Balance of Plant (BoP) works, commissioning, and long-term operations and maintenance. This milestone partnership strengthens India’s renewable ecosystem and accelerates Waaree’s expansion into integrated clean energy solutions.
